Conservation and the work that goes into maintaining the grounds at the Rye Nature Center is a never ending task. If you know anything about our grounds, you know we have many invasive species and other tasks that require continuous work from our Conservation Team. What on Earth is a Caddisfly?
Caddisflies are most well-known for the protective cases they build in their larvae stage. They use small stone, sticks, mud, and other organic matter found on the bottom of waterways.
