Animal homes tell us an incredible amount about the life and behavior of a species. We will discover why location is key to the survival of termite mounds; observe how beaver dams impact their local environment; and uncover the effects of rising water temperatures on coral reefs.

Summer Camp Registration Opens
Registration opens soon for camp at Friends of Rye Nature Center! Our 47-acre preserve offers adventure, ecological exploration, and hands-on scientific inquiry in a fun and inclusive environment. Guided by a commitment to health and safety, our programs follow Westchester County Department of Health requirements and promote environmental stewardship.

Animal Meet and Greet
Join us for a meet and greet with the Nature Center animals! Children and families will get to learn about our resident mammals, reptiles, and birds.
